Questions, answered
Do I need an AI API key?
No, not to start. Analytics never uses AI, and without a key the AI panel uses built-in, rule-based summaries and alerts. Add an xAI (Grok), OpenAI, Google Gemini or Anthropic Claude key in the admin panel for full AI answers; the provider bills you directly for what you use.
Is it really cookieless and GDPR friendly?
Yes. By default no cookies or local storage are used and no IP addresses are stored. Visitors are counted with an anonymous hash that changes every day, and Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected. AI providers only ever see totals, never raw visitor rows. You remain responsible for your own privacy policy.
Will it run on shared hosting?
Yes. It is plain PHP 8.1+ with no Composer or npm dependencies. It runs on Hostinger, cPanel hosts, any VPS, Apache, LiteSpeed or nginx, with SQLite (zero setup) or MySQL / MariaDB for busy sites.
How big is the tracking script?
About 2 KB (1 KB gzipped), loaded with defer, so it does not slow your pages down. It also tracks single-page apps.
Which license do I need?
Pick Regular for one installation where end users are never charged (your own sites or one client). Pick Extended if your users pay you for plans or AI credits, in other words a paid analytics SaaS. Pick Reseller if you want to rebrand and sell or hand the script itself to your own clients.
How do I get the files?
Right after payment you land on your download page with your license key and a download button. We also email you the link. The link works for 72 hours and up to 5 downloads; email us any time for a fresh one.
Do I get updates and support?
Yes: free updates for all 1.x versions and 6 months of email support at support@analytix66.com. Include your license key when you write.
Is this the same as my Analytix66 account?
No. Your Analytix66 account is our hosted service. Glimmetric is a separate, self-hosted script you install on your own server, with your own brand, for yourself or your own customers.
Is there a refund policy?
Yes. If Glimmetric does not install or work as described on a server that meets the requirements and we cannot fix it, email us within 14 days for a full refund.

Glimmetric is a digital download. If it does not install or work as described on a server that meets the requirements above, and we cannot fix it, email support@analytix66.com within 14 days of purchase with your license key and we will refund you in full. A refund cancels the license. Change-of-mind refunds after download are not offered.
